The Real Estate Collective (REC) began with a simple but powerful belief: business grows at the speed of relationships. Long before REC was an organization, it was a shared conviction among a handful of local professionals who were hungry for something deeper- connection, collaboration, and community impact.

2020 — The Launch

January 7, 2020 marked our official beginning.

In a world filled with transactional networking groups, we set out to build something different:

  • A community centered on authentic connection rather than competition.
  • A network that cared as much about impact as it did about income.

Our early meetups were small but electric. People didn’t just attend, they belonged.

2022 — The Expansion Year

This was the year our gatherings grew- both in size and in voice.

  • Larger in-person events returned.
  • New professionals and partners joined our tribe.
  • Momentum increased as more agents adopted the REC philosophy inside their businesses.

The community was becoming more than a network; it was becoming a movement.

2023 — Events, Impact, and Influence

2023 marked a turning point in how REC showed up in the real estate space.

Key milestones:

  • Hosted some of our largest workshops to date.
  • Expanded partnerships to include organizations committed to making real, local impact.
  • Strengthened our relationship with Austin Angels, empowering our community to support kids and families impacted by foster care.

Connection drove everything, and the ripple impact was undeniable.

2024 — The Rise of the Relationship-First Movement

REC became known as the organization that refused to be ordinary. This year:

  • We refined our content, workshops, and open house strategies.
  • Launched the “Compete on a Completely Different Level” events.
  • Saw more leaders step into the community, adding their unique strengths.
